Museums and cultural centres
The visit to the museums of Easter Island is very interesting as it complements the knowledge acquired during the tour to the monuments. It is advisable to visit them before seeing the archaeological sites to understand better the mysteries that encloses Rapa Nui.
The Anthropological Easter Island Museum is the only museum on the island, is named after the German priest Sebastian Englert, who came to the island in 1935. Read more »
The Tadeo Lili Teao Frechet Cultural Foundation is a private non-profit foundation that was created in 2013 as a tribute from Lili Frechet, of French origin, to her husband Tadeo Teao, born rapanui, who died in 2011. Read more »
